Painting Showcase

The Reaper Virtual Expo 2021 Showcase, where you can show off all the amazing creations you have been working on for all to see. Have something you're proud of or you think deserves attention, enter it here into our Showcase, and possibly win some prizes along the way!

Sample Entry
  • You may use any manufacturer's model, not just Reaper models. This is a miniature painting showcase and we would like to highlight all your beautiful works of art!
  • Post your model with a description, the techniques you used to paint it, any special backstory, or any other important details.
  • Once submitted, your entry goes into an approval queue where it will wait for us to review it for content. Reaper reserves the right to deny the posting of any image that does not meet our community guidelines for approriate content.
  • A team of Reaper Reviewers made up of Reaper staff and industry professionals will be looking at all entries; each Reaper Reviewer will choose 5 "Reaper Choice" entries to be awarded their $20 gift card to Reapermini.com!
  • We encourage fans to look through all the submissions and also share their entries on all social media using the hashtag #RVEshowcase2021.
  • Deadline for submissions: Sunday March 7th 12:00 PM Central.

  • Choose four MSP Paints of your liking. In addition to these four paints you will also get to use Black and White for a total of 6 paints to create your palette. (Core Colors, Bones, Pathfinder, HD, or even Pro-Paints)
  • Choose a Reaper Miniatures model. Any model that suits your fancy.
  • For submitting you need to have a before and an after photo of your model with the colors you have chosen!
  • Paint that model using only the 6 colors of your palette. (Only white, black, OR grey priming will be allowed)
  • You will need a before picture and an after picture like the submission example. 2:1 w:h ratio. The final image will be resized to fill a 1000x500px space.
  • Once submitted, your entry goes into an approval queue where it will wait for us to review it for content. Reaper reserves the right to deny the posting of any image that does not meet our community guidelines for approriate content.

Faction Fight

Was the Quad Color Clash not hard enough?!
Introducing a harder version of a limited palette challenge for Reaper Virtual Expo. Choose a faction option, then paint a model with shades of the chosen faction, all the info on what colors are allowed for each option, and the rules for entering are below.

Overview:

  • Each faction has two different options for color choices, each option has three colors associated with it.
  • Choose one of these options and those are the only colors that you can use.
  • Black and white are not allowed like they are in Quad Color Clash.
  • You can prime your models with Black, White, OR Grey.
  • You will need a before picture and an after picture like the submission example. 2:1 w:h ratio. The final image will be resized to fill a 1000x500px space.
